Hello Friends!! Happy Easter, Joyeuses Pâques, God påske, Buona Pasqua, and for my ancestors...Frohe Ostern

Today, on Easter, as we gather with family, whether it be a large group of them, or in our case, with everybody spread all around, a small gathering, let us enjoy one another fully. If you’re somewhere on your own, and due to commitments unable to join with family to celebrate Easter, then hopefully you’ve had the chance to spend lovely time with dear friends. Or you might be the type of person who prefers to spend holidays on your own, in quiet reflection, peace, and doing exactly as you please.

However you’re spending today, I pray that you’re deeply joyful. Profoundly happy, and thankful. We’re blessed to be alive during a time when there is so much power working together in the unity of love, compassion, and concentrated effort to make the world a more level playing field for all of humanity. This is a magical thing, and I for one, feel honored to be witnessing it first hand.

This is, in my opinion, the entire meaning of life:

To love more than you were loved.

To give more than you were given.

To sprinkle your blessings around, giving of your soul selflessly.

To the kind reader, you know who you are, who worries that our faith was destroyed by the “church” we were a part of. I assure you that it was not. What it taught me, is that God is not in a building. God is not in a crowd. God is in my heart and soul; whispering to me his love for me all day, every day. The spirit of Him, was solidified in me after I left that organization. All is good there, thank you for caring so much about us.

To another reader, you know who you are; who allowed the cruelty of trolls to stop you from writing your daily blog, on the life you’ve led as a mom to a daughter who has battled, and beaten cancer. I say to you; you must continue to spread strength, encouragement, support, and the joy of victory with other parents. Don’t let anybody, who is sad in their own lives, take you out at the knees. You are a warrior woman. Your daughter is a champion, gift, and miracle. You keep doing you, and let the hatred roll of your back. Remember this; people who are mean, aggressive, and bully online are the loneliest and most hurting people out there. Your strength challenges them to get off their asses, get help, and make the changes they need to be their best selves. All too often, people who have nothing nice to say, especially to a stranger, who in your case is baring your soul, doesn’t want to be better. They only find comfort within their own misery; and the way I “deal” with those types of people, is I pray for them, then let them go. Their upset isn’t mine to carry. Now, you, get back to writing!! The parents who are in the thick of childhood cancer NEED YOU.

And in closing, on Easter, I leave you with these beautiful words that a reader sent to me the other day…

The words of John Wesley:

Do all the good you can
By all the means you can
In all the ways you can
In all the places you can
At all the times you can
To all the people you can
As long as ever you can

Happy Easter, Joyeuses Pâques, God påske, Buona Pasqua, and for my ancestors…Frohe Ostern

Love, love, love,

Shantelle
